To find the ip address of a victim you can use the command prompt. First of all you should make a file transfer between you and the victim. You could use a IM for this (Gtalk, Yahoo, MSN).Close all the browser and everything which connects to internet leaving only the IM you use to send the file. After the file transfer has begun open the Command Prompt.
Type this Command
netstat -n
This will Show the Active connections. You Can find the ip address of the victim under the foreign address. Mostly File Transfer is done via port 21... So get the ip address which use port 21
